Lewis' "A Grief Observed&quo...I found C.S. Lewis' "A Grief Observed" and "The Problem of Pain" to be good for finding my way back to God after being so angry at him for so long. He and I aren't quite back on "speaking terms" but I'm not as angry as I was due to these books. I also received no less than 3 copies of a book called "Heaven is For Real" that brought me a lot of hope.<br /><br />I think you hit it on the head why there aren't more books about this type of thing: no one wants to bring up those old emotions. Also, I think most people like for motivational books like that to have happy (or at least hopeful) endings, and that isn't what we get most of the time.
